Frequently Asked Questions. How often do you visit? Once per day to normal healthy adult cats. Each visit lasts for fifteen to twenty minutes. We will visit twice a day for cats with special needs such as kittens and unwell cats or cats who have to take medication. What would you do if my cat became ill? We would contact you (or a nominated emergency contact) and will take your cat to the vet and contact you in serious cases. Are you insured? Yes, we are members of the National Association of Registered Pet sitters which includes public liability insurance. How much do you charge? Our standard charge is £10.00 with the following exceptions for 2013/14;
Is it more if i have two or more cats? No, it`s a flat rate for any amount of cats (within reason!). Do you cover my area? Postcodes covered; SE16, SE17, SE1, SE15 and parts of SE5, if you are unsure if we cover your area please email with your postcode, areas outside of this radius may be possible, please email us your postcode so we can check. Are there any hidden or extra charges? No. Hector cycles everywhere and there are no extra hidden charges i.e.. congestion charge or parking meter fees. Are you available at short notice? Yes. My current record for short notice is 25 minutes from phone call to meeting and 2 hours from phone call to actual cat sitting. Can you feed our goldfish/hamster/budgie? We specialize in cats but we can look after other small pets if part of the household at no extra cost. Will you water our plants? We will also water houseplants or gardens and take in mail/newspapers. How can I make a booking? To make a booking you can either e-mail us at bookings@malibu-cat-sitting.co.uk or call us on 020 7064 9109. We will then arrange a convenient time to meet you and your cats and discuss your requirements as well as answering any other questions you may have, please feel free to ask beforehand. If I make a booking what information do I need to give you? If you decide to make a booking we will need; vet details, emergency contacts, dates you require visits on and any information such as dietary needs medication etc. this will all be coverd when we make the initial visit though.
